Every year the proceeds of the Boyd’s Father’s Day Car Show is donated to a worthy cause. This year the recipient of our 14 annual Father’s Day Car Show will be the BC Professional Firefighters Burn Fund Camp For Kids. This is your opportunity to have some fun and to support them. Please note that there will be no on-line registrations after May 31st 2012.

The management and staff of Boyd Autobody & Glass would like to thank all the people and businesses that made our 13th Annual Father’s Day Car Show another great success! With over 500 cars, trucks, boats, and bikes, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Cars for Dad, bouncy castles and face painting for the kids, and the silent auction for Mom. Paired with great food and entertainment from Kenny “The Bluesboss” Wayne and our very own Floyd Vedan Band and The Dance City Academy, it was truly a memorable day!

Children of the Kindercare program at the Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs’ Martin Avenue Club were on hand to help Board President Rod Pacholzuk receive an $8,000 cheque from Boyd Auto Body & Glass for the funds raised at the 12th Annual Father’s Day Car Show.  Gordie Abougoush and his staff chose the Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs as the recipient of this year’s funds, which will be distributed to eight of the club locations in the central Okanagan.  The funds will be used to purchase much needed supplies and equipment.  Gordie Abougoush challenges other businesses in the community to step up and support the children in our community by donating to the Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs he said: “Boyd Auto Body just donated $8,000 to the Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs, what can your company do?”
