Kelowna General Hospital Foundation
Kelowna General Hospital Foundation was formed in 1978 by the Kelowna & District Hospital Society as an Endowment Foundation; it's purposes have since changed to a public health care foundation. In the first year of operation $11,560 was received in donations. Total revenues in 25 years (March 31, 2003) are $31,414,935 and expenditures including donations to IHA were $25,375,775. Net assets, including restricted / unrestricted funds are just over $5.6 million and there is $2.3 million held in Endowment. |

Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada
The mission of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada is: To be a leader in finding a cure for multiple sclerosis and enabling people affected by MS to enhance their quality of life.
Our two major programs provide hope for the future through the support of MS research into the cause, treatment and cure of the disease and hope for today through our many services that assist people with MS and their families.or both its cultural heritage and its natural features. It is one of a small number of places listed as World Heritage Places for both reasons. Extensive rock art is found there. |
